The Department of Energy's Office of Nonproliferation Research and Development (NA-22) is the nation's preeminent long-term technical research program developing science and technology to support national efforts to detect and deter nuclear weapons proliferation activities and capabilities. The Office provides technical expertise, leadership and funds development of next generation technologies and methods to detect foreign nuclear weapon production activities. As part of this effort, NA-22 funds University research on a competitive basis. This Program Review Meeting will present the current University research activities and provide the University research partners with an overview of NA-22 activities and National Laboratory programs in these areas.
